因應港府最新發佈對抗新型肺炎防疫措施，為避免學生聚集增加受感染風險，基於公共衛生安全考慮，本會正式宣佈2020香港小學科學奧林匹克比賽將會取消。
再次感謝各校校長、老師、家長和同學一直對此比賽的鼎力支持，對於最後需作出比賽取消的安排，本會感到萬分無奈，敬請各位體諒。報名費將全數退回，有關退款手續將於稍後通知各校負責老師。

In response to the latest measures against the novel coronavirus infection announced by the HKSAR Government,  HKASME has to make the following announcement：2020 Hong Kong Science Olympiad for the Primary Schools will be cancelled for the sake of public health and safety. 
Thank you for all your great supports for this yearly Primary Science Event. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to all the students, teachers and parents. For application fee refund, all teachers in charge will receive refund arrangement details  through email.
