Description :
The first Hong Kong Science Olympiad for Primary Schools was kicked off to a successful start on 24 February 2018. A thousand of Primary 5 and Primary 6 students participated in the competition. The ultimate goal of this competition is to help all the young participants to test their own science learning ability. It also serves to enhance their self-study and self-confidence in Science Learning. With the great support of school principals, teachers, parents and students, Hong Kong Association of Science and Mathematics is proud to launch the second Hong Kong Science Olympiad for Primary Schools in 2019. We continuously encourage all the Primary 5 & Primary 6 students in Hong Kong to take part in this authentic science written assessment.

Arrangement : Individual assessment, each participant has to finish 30 M.C. questions in 50 minutes. |

Science contents from the Hong Kong Primary General Studies Curriculum.(~ 50%) Science contents outside the Primary Curriculum.(~50%) (All questions are set in BOTH Chinese and English.) |

Individual Awards include : Certificates of Gold, Silver and Bronze awards School Awards include : 1. Outstanding Performance Award - Schools - Students mean test scores amongst TOP FIVE of all participating schools . 2. The Most Active Participation School - School with the highest number of participants. |

Application procedure:
1. Please download and fax (2333 3355) us your completed application form before 15/12/ 2018.
2. Then submit your completed form together with a cheque payable to "HKASME Ltd" and post to Rm. 114, 1/F., Po On Court, 1 Po On Rd., Sham Shui Po, Kowloon.
3. Confirmation of application to participants will be sent via email.
